Are Injectors Well Trained?

All injectors are registered nurses with a bachelor’s degree or higher. They all have extensive training in administering injections and are fully certified to provide aesthetic services. In addition, Amici Nurse Injectors must complete comprehensive, on-the-job training before providing services to clients.

How Much Does BOTOX® Cost?
  • BOTOX® cost is calculated as a cost per unit of BOTOX®. Our BOTOX® is $12/unit at your home and is reduced to $10/unit if you attend an Amici BOTOX® Party. If you are interested in being an Amici Ambassador and host your own BOTOX® party, the cost is even further reduced.

  • Your total cost will depend on how much BOTOX® you have injected! Generally, we "guestimate" needing 20-40 units for forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet.

  • Remember, BOTOX® treatments can last up to 6 months!

How Does BOTOX® Work?

Using a very fine needle, BOTOX® is injected into the facial muscles that cause frown lines and crow’s feet. The ingredients in BOTOX® bind to the acetylcholine receptors, essential in facial muscle contraction, and make it more difficult for muscle activity to occur. This reduces fine lines and wrinkles, giving you a more youthful appearance.

When Will I See Results from Getting BOTOX®?

You may see results as early as within 24 to 48 hours of injection, when the BOTOX® ingredients are still binding to the acetylcholine receptors. Results typically become visible in 3 to 5 days after injection, with the full effect visible at 14 days.

How Long Do BOTOX® Injections Last?

For most, the effects of a BOTOX® injection can last anywhere from 3-6 months. As they wear off, previously treated lines and wrinkles may reappear. But, with repeated treatment, frown lines and crow’s feet often appear less severe than before, since the muscles have been trained to relax.

In What Areas Can I Get BOTOX® Injections?
  • Forehead

  • Glabellar (skin between the eyebrows and above the nose)

  • Crow’s Feet (wrinkles at the outer corner of the eyes)

  • Bunny Lines (wrinkles when you scrunch up your nose)

  • Armpits (to prevent sweating)

  • Gummy smile (to help the upper lip relax and reduce a gummy smile)

How Does Filler Work?

A dermal filler is a smooth injectable gel, also known as hyaluronic acid, that is eased under your skin to instantly smooth out wrinkles and folds. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in the body, and its purpose is to pull water to add plumpness to the area. This adds volume and fullness to depleted areas of the face, including mid-face (cheekbones), nasolabial folds, marionette lines and lips. The results are subtle but noticeable. During your consultation, our Nurse Injector will want to learn about your desired expectations and goals of your treatment. She will evaluate your skins current condition and facial structure to determine what products will work best for your needs.

What Type of Dermal Fillers Do You Use?

We use JUVÉDERM® (Ultra XC, Voluma, Vollure and Volbella) brand of fillers. This collection of fillers offers a wide range of treatment options and the ability to customize to your individual needs.
