  • You may see results from Botox® Injections as early as within 24 to 48 hours of injection when the BOTOX® ingredients are still binding to the acetylcholine receptors.

    Results typically become visible in 3 to 5 days after injection, with the full effect visible at 14 days.

    For most, the effects of a BOTOX® injection can last anywhere from 3-4 months.

    As they wear off, previously treated lines and wrinkles may reappear.

    But, with repeated treatment, frown lines and crow’s feet often appear less severe than before, since the muscles have been trained to relax.

  • Our BOTOX® and Xeomin® are $12 per unit and is reduced to $11 per unit if you attend an Amici BOTOX® Party. Dysport® is $4 per unit.

  • A dermal filler is a smooth injectable gel, also known as hyaluronic acid, which is eased under your skin to smooth out wrinkles and folds instantly.

    Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar in the body, and its purpose is to pull water to add plumpness to the area.

    This adds volume and fullness to depleted areas of the face, including mid-face (cheekbones), nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lips, chin, jaw line, and temples.

    The results are subtle but noticeable.

    During your consultation, our Nurse Injector will want to learn about your desired expectations and goals of your treatment.

    She will evaluate your skin's current condition and facial structure to determine what products will work best for your needs.

  • Results can be seen immediately after, and will get better over the course of 2 – 3 weeks as the filler integrates with your own tissue.

    The results will last 6 months – 2 years, depending on which filler is used.

    Immediately after the treatment, there may be redness, bruising, swelling, tenderness and/or itching at or near the injection site(s).

    Avoid itching, massaging or touching around the injection.

  • Yes, Dermal Fillers are quite safe, but like any procedure there are small risks.

    The most important risk is a blocking of a blood vessel, but that is typically seen immediately and can be reversed.

    Our injectors are experts in preventing this risk, and are well trained on how to reverse it.

  • Dermal Fillers generally come as a syringe that can only be used on you.

    One syringe is $650 and above.

  • We use JUVÉDERM® and Versa Dermal Fillers. This collection of fillers offers a wide range of treatment options and the ability to customize to your individual needs.

    JUVÉDERM VOLUMA®XC injectable gel is indicated for deep (subcutaneous and/or supraperiosteal) injection for cheek augmentation to correct age-related volume deficit in the mid-face.

    JUVÉDERM®Ultra Plus XC injectable gels are indicated for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds.

    JUVÉDERM®Ultra XC injectable gel is indicated for injection into the lips and peri-oral area for lip augmentation.

  • A prescription medicine popular non-surgical injectable treatment to reduce and eliminate fat.

  • Kybella® targets excessive fat. It minimizes or eliminates submental fullness under the chin and other body areas.

  • Yes, it is quite safe, but like any procedure there are small risks. Common side effects include pain, swelling, bruising, redness, and numbness. The recovery process associated with Kybella®is minimal in most cases, and downtime varies from person to person. Minor side effects typically subside in one to two weeks.

  • Multiple vials may be needed for one treatment depending on amount of submental fullness. Treatment cost is based on the amount of vials needed. One treatment is $600 and up. Remember, Kybella® treatments are permanent!

  • Kybella® is comprised of deoxycholic acid, a molecule that occurs naturally in the body and aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat. Once injected, Kybella® destroys the fat cells present under the chin. This procedure requires a consult with our Nurse Injector.

  • Yes! Kybella is FDA approved for fat reduction in the chin, but it can be used off label to get rid of unwanted fat in areas such as lower buttock, the back (bra fat), the armpits, inner knees, and lower belly.

    There is some downtime but is much less invasive than liposuction and laser procedures.

Kenalog injections are not meant to work as a preventive treatment for acne breakouts. These injections are used to target, manage, and treat difficult acne and acne lesions.

 
 
 
 

  • Kenalog’s active ingredient, Triamcinolone, is a medication that has strong anti-inflammatory properties. When Kenalog is injected into the acne, it automatically reduces the redness and inflammation and flattens the lesion, so the skin begins to heal instantly. Unlike topical steroids, these injections reduce the chance of thinning the skin surface and remedy the issue faster.

    The area being treated will first be cleaned. The medication will be injected into the cyst through a very fine needle to aid in minimal discomfort. Patients may ask for a topical numbing cream to ensure optimal comfort. The session takes a few minutes, and there is no downtime. Patients can receive these injections every 4-8 weeks if needed.

  • Individuals with a history of Triamcinolone allergy or active skin infection should not receive Kenalog injections. Those living with painful cystic acne can often benefit from this treatment. To determine if this treatment option is right for you, a consultation with one of our Nurse Injectors will be needed.

  • You can expect cysts to start shrinking within 4-8 hours after injection. Results will continue to improve over the next several days. These injections can also help to prevent scarring from deep cystic acne.
